This poster explores the value of criminal paraphernalia as it pertains
to use for education, the conservation of historical heritage, and
memorializing victims. By investigating the Crime Museum of London and two
highly published cases the evolution of crime prevention and investigation can
be learned as well as historical and cultural value. Lastly, the social
fascination of crime drama is also explored.
This post refers to coursework done for ARCLG141 (2015-16), one of the core courses of the UCL MA Principles of Conservation.
